Analyzing requirements for creating test cases, documenting and running them and recording the results
Running different QA strategies in order to asure the quality of the application
Work with the QA Manager and colleagues to define QA process and strategy.
Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
Help planning test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope/delivery dates.
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Required experience and skills:
Proven experience analyzing requirements for creating test cases.
Proven experience documenting, executing and recording test cases and their results.
Experience in different platforms (Web, Desktop, Mobile, etc).
Proven experience in ad hoc testing, black box testing, compatibility testing, manual/functional testing, smoke testing, test design
Basic level knowledge of XML and RDBMS concepts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
Organisational skills with the capability of working towards tight deadlines.
Experience in Agile development methodologies preferable.
